Ain't no otter place I'd a-rather been relaxing!

It were loverly to hang out in Otterwa awhile!
Here is Kaatje and me...

and this is a Kaatje sandwich, with me and her mommy, my beloved Lyssa on each side!

This is Mike, a friend of mine who run a virtual youth centre in Orleans, a suburb of Otterwa. We climbed a tree or two, which I tried very hard to fall out of, but came away with only a few scratches!

So, where do you think this door originally led?

Gorgeous church! Almost makes me want to be a Christian...

And last but not least, the Rideau Canal.
Gotta jet for now, my beautiful step-daughter and her wonderful daddy just walked through the door!

boohoo, blogger doesn't want to let me see the pics, but hopefully, I can come back later and see them. Glad you had such an Otterwise time, and that there's no Otterwa place you'd rather be...lol..

Enjoy your time with Hayley. She sounds like a nice kid.

If I had to chose a city in eastern Canada to live in, it would be Ottawa. It's not too big, very pretty and close to the Gatineau Hills & the Laurentians (aka skiing). I have skated a mile or two upon the Rideau Canal - and yes...when it was frozen.

Great happy pics!

Gypsy, I don't think that's the door leading to hell...I don't recognise it.

Fab pics, Stevie! Firstly, I adore your sleek cropped look.. don't pay any attention to that Gypsy...compost..pah! I don't know! It looks devine. Just goes to show that you are not just your hair, and have the cutest face too.

Then, the pics of Ottawa re beautiful. It breathes peace and tranquillity, despite the toppled over cross in the roof of that building... my I wonder what someone did to manage that! Love the canal too...but then I do love canals...don't I?

Toppled cross = chimney pot, I believe.

LOL
