My gosh... it has been ages. And I promised I would keep up here.
Ah, naughty me.
I am eagerly awaiting the birth of my third grandchild. Amanda is due Dec. 3, but you know how due dates work!
I am still at the ranch, still loving it, though honestly, this year I am more tired than I usually am. But then again, I did turn 50 this month. Or 600 months, as I prefer these days. It makes me feel sort of wise to be 600.
All is well. There have been a few changes. Tony quit drinking last year, and we celebrated his first year of sobriety in September on his 50th birthday. He has been adjusting and growing, which I am very thankful for.
I am feeling a bit stuck in a rut, but the only person who can change that is me. So I am thinking of things I can do to shake myself up a bit, ruffle my feathers and re-energize myself.
I miss our time here, but I do creep about and see your posts, those of you still posting, and even if I do not comment, I am about!
I must buckle down and include writing in my shake-up. I keep saying I want to write my book, but saying and doing are two different things.
Oddly, one of the things I have traditionally done to shake off the doldrums has been to rearrange my physical surroundings, but that is a bit tougher in this house. Or maybe I just need to get a bit more creative... hmmm...

See you all around the 'sphere, darlings...

With much love,

The Absent Me.
