Hey Stevie,

It's 7:41PM in Des Moines. We're counting down to your shave at 9:30 our time.

You rock!

I'm not sure whether it's done or about to be done, but it's Sunday morning here! Is it cold around your ears yet?

Hey there Steph of the No Locks!

I wish I could have made it to the relay, but I was so tired last evening.
I was picking up Chinese when I saw you on Main St.
(Hsd to get it from the OP, because the Windy was too busy - no comparison...)

I was hoping to watch you being shaved and see the boys play, but I was in bed by 9:00.

My friend's son was planning to get his head done, too. Did he make it? He's the lead guitar/front man for the band.

Hope your getting some rest upon your newly polished dome!

You're pretty amazing.

This is the strangest sensation!
It's done lovies... the relay, the shaving of my noggin, the whole kit and caboodle! The night went well, filled with laughter and friends and family and a few tears, but lots of love. And the day dawned bright and lovely! I am trying to stay up until evening so I can sleep through the night, but already gave in to a brief 45 minute nap. Have to go find a couple of bandanas... and download photos to send you all!

Stevie, I am so sorry to have come so late to all this - I am a very poor blogger, and have not been attentive.

What a great thing you're doing! As a supporter of cancer research here for many years, I have seen how money can make a difference. My very favourite uncle died of cancer many many years ago leaving a wife, and four children under 12. I've made cancer research my "thing" ever since, but I've never lopped my locks for it, and you make me a little ashamed. You are amazing.
