I've always known there was an unsolved murder in Wilmer having to do with a young girl, but I never knew the details. This is horrible. What a terrifying last night on earth. How many of the the people involved still live in the valley?
I think all of the kids that were with her have moved away. Elwood passed away several years ago. I often wonder what happened that night, or the next day. I wonder which of the rumours, if any, are true. Did she just wander off?: Hard to believe. But I don't think we will ever know. At this point the most we can hope for is to find something of her remains so the family can have closure.
