You've got a touch of the "Gypsy Noir" look, Steph!

So, where was this art show?

Gotta love anything purple...

Thank you Dahlings... Dale, it was at Pynelogs... A noirette! Ohh, I like the sounds of that!
Where do I read up on this Noir business though? I really ought to study...

Good luck on the house, Steph.

You know I have my place for sale...

IF the offer on this place doesn't go through, we'll be looking again... this one is in Wilmer right on the wetlands, has four bedrooms and is two lots... I really like it... but there is an offer in front of us and they have until Friday... and we have yet to see the money people... so I won't get excited yet... I just won't... nuh-uh...
hee hee!

Wow! I would not have recognized this purple-haired style chick as you. I think you and Dale should sport the same style and call yourselves the Rocky Mountain Trench Noirettes. Heck, you should even bring Dale's Jenny into the group too as she told me that she was planning on putting some purple into her hair too.

You gorgeous glamour-puss! Aren't you just the biz? And here I am in my jarmies and a pullover. I am not worthy.

As for the Noir / Noir Shampain legend, you'll need a quiet weekend to trawl back through Gypsy's blog archives I think. It could take some time, but you'll never spend a weekend better. Oh alright you might, but not in front of a computer.

Separate comment for serious stuff. About Gypsy's comment on your previous, beautiful post; the shared bond between you and Gypsy is extraordinary. Did you find each other through this, or was it something you discovered through just talking / blogging?

I love that you take time to grieve, feel and remember, but also time to celebrate, laugh and live with a sense of fun.

Perhaps those who have lost precious lives learn to value and live their own to the fullest.

Hey Margie
It was something we discovered after a comment I made about missing my daughter on, I think, Gypsy's blog, and then Gypsy telling me her sister had a wee one with Edwards....
an incredible meeting, really.
I have finally reached a place where I allow myself to grieve, usually on July 17, her shouldhavebeen birthday, but the rest of the year, and not a day goes by still that I do not think of her, that I thank her for the lessons she taught me, for choosing me to be her mother, for showing me what strength and love and goodnesss is allabout. I am in a place where her memory is far less painful and far more a blessing. It's a good place.
But to be there, I do have to allow myself a little time, now and then, to grieve.
She was a real scrapper, my Arlyann. Outlived every doctor prediction just to show them who was really boss.
My daughter, through and through...

OOOh!!, I have some worthy recruits for the noir charm offensive school...you are all worthy in your own rights..I shall teach you well..
and thankyou for the glowing CV Margie!!..x..
Stevie, the more i read your comments about Arlyann, well, you bowl me over everytime..x..
And on the house front..
everything crossed..yes even legs, eyes, nose-er..anyhoo i shall wish and wish all good things your way!..

You look superbly glam, Stevie.

I think what I love about all the ladies who cross each other's blogs here is the strength and dignity you all display through difficult times.

I tip my hat and glass to you all.
