I survived the first day of my captivity... at least I think it was a full day... I found a small wedge of swiss cheese in a hole behind the cot I slept in last night and was able to use it to bribe one of the duller of the mice guarding my door... this ovaline sect is more brawn than brain I think.
Gyspy, the dullard mouse made a crude map of my whereabouts... with luck it will reach Bert, then you and the other intrepid bloggers... I will continue to save up marshmallows, though they have switched me to orange mini-mallows, and I fear they will make less effective weapons... no news yet from the ferrion sect... I will stay strong though and continue to moisturize for that dewy look in case any of them are feeling a wee bit frisky...

...careful not to moisturise too much - they might slip from your grasp.

LMAO - Swiss cheese will always get me - it's one of my favourites
Oh why are you captive, sweet Stevie? I read your long post on pigeon holing, and agreed with all of it and some, but no you've changed from a pigeon to a mouse. What gives?? Curiosity, I know, but O [romise I'm not a cat, and I pray it won't kill me ;-)
Hey all...
have been meaning to write a post describing all the delicious events of the charity with all the handsome rich men Lindy and I left in our wake, but after arriving home from said wonderful getaway, I got a scary call about 1:30 a.m. and spent the night with my 17-year-old in the hospital. I guess there is a first time for everything, and despite trying to educate him about not drinking to excess if he simply had to drink, and seeing me deal with countless youths who have stumbled into my centre drunk and on and on, he was brought comatose to the hospital after a "friend" and he drank far too much rum straight from the bottle. He collapsed in the snow, and his "friend" took off. Thank God a real friend found him and called the ambulance. I have no idea what possessed him to do this, but he did, and it damn near killed him. Had he not been found, I would be mourning him instead of grounding him. As it is the doc was only a few minutes away from intubating and sending him to Calgary to prevent oxygen depravation to his brain, but he managed to make his way out of the blackness on his own. I have never been so... angry, and afraid, and guilt ridden, and... just a myriad of other emotions.
It scared him, badly, as it did his friends. J has generally always been the one not to drink even when his friends were, and many of them were as shocked as I was. Anyhow, he is aready home, and I am very thankful he is okay.
Will write about the gala evening in a day or two.
Oh Stephanie!
I didn't know.
My heart goes out to you and I can empathise so much that I am looking this screen through a veil of tears.
Let's simply thank God.
Dale
